EC: Unpublished Material Description
Dear colleagues, thank you for sharing your unpublished data with us. We consider this a significant contribution to our meta-analysis on EC and contingency awareness.

We would appreciate you sending your raw data to felice.tavera@uni-koeln.de. All raw data will be handled confidentially.

Additionally, in order to better understand your study and be able to assess it in terms of our analyses, we have provided this template in which you may fill in information as far as applicable to your study.

We highly appreciate your co-operation, and will, if you wish, inform you upon publication of the meta-analysis.

How should we cite your study? *
Is the study published (yet)? *
In what year did you conduct the study? *
In which country did you conduct the study?
What sample did you test in the study?
Clear selection
What was the total N? *
What was the ratio of women and men?
What was the mean age and standard deviation?
Which stimuli did you use (e.g. as CS, US, and, if applicable, for masking)?
Did you use subliminal/suboptimal CS/US presentation? *
ONLY if you used subliminal presentation of stimuli: Could you give us more details (e.g. duration of presentation of the CS and US, parafoveal presentation, CFS procedure etc.)?
How did you determine the valence of your stimuli (CS, US; e.g. using a within-participant pretest)?
ONLY if you used masking: Could you give us more details on the masking procedure (e.g. duration, type)?
Which conditions did you use in your experiment (e.g. positive vs. negative vs. neutral valence)?
How often did you pair the CS with the US? How many trials did you use overall?
What inter-stimulus-interval (ISI) and what inter-trial-interval (ITI) did you use for pairings of CS and US?
Was contingency awareness experimentally manipulated? *
What was the dependent variable in your study (e.g. ranking, choice)? *
Did you use a within or a between design with regards to the awareness manipulation?
Clear selection
Did you use a within or a between design to manipulate US valence?
Clear selection
How did you assess contingency awareness?
Was contingency awareness assessed across participants or across stimuli?
Have you calculated group comparisons already? Please provide us with your calculated means, standard deviations, sample sizes, t-values, and degrees of freedom for them.
We would appreciate if you provided an e-mail address so that we can contact you. We will only use your address for questions regarding your study and won't forward it to any third party.
Do you want to be notified as soon as there is a preprint or publication of the meta-analysis available?
