Rad Yiddish - EVENT REGISTRATION (& OPTIONAL EMAIL LIST SIGN-UP)
Rad Yiddish is an online meet-up of lefties who love to learn Yiddish together in a supportive environment. We read (in Yiddish and English) and discuss (in English) Yiddish cultural artifacts that have radical/leftist Yiddish content. We strive as always to be accessible to all levels from zero previous Yiddish experience to totally fluent. Our events are on Zoom and Zoom auto-captioning will be available.

On the right side of the banner, on a pale purple background with a peacock feather graphic, the text says "Rad Yiddish and Queer Yiddish Camp Present: Spring Games Lefty Games in Yiddish and English Sunday, March 26th at 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM ET." Community Agreements:
COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
We respect people’s marginalized identities: No racism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, femmephobia, whorephobia, sexism, ableism, sanism, classism, ageism, sizeism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, faith-bashing or other oppressive attitudes or behaviours.

We don’t assume anyone’s race, dis/abiity, gender, or pronouns. If you don’t know someone’s pronouns, ask.

If someone points out something we said or did was harmful, we avoid getting defensive, correct the harm when possible, and aim to do better next time.We avoid jumping in and correcting others or offering comments when it’s someone else’s turn, unless they specifically asked the group for input.

We are patient with slower speakers. Any & all efforts to speak / sing in Yiddish are encouraged!

We repeat anything said in Yiddish also in English, in the main room, so everyone understands (unless we break out into intermediate/advanced level rooms).

We are mindful of the space we take up & share talking time with all others.
Make Space: If you tend to be someone who talks a lot, make space for others before sharing.
Take Space: If you tend to be someone who doesn’t take space, we encourage you to! We keep ourselves muted when it’s not our time to speak.
Have you read the Community Agreements in full and do you agree to respect and follow them? *
Do you have any QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS you'd like to check in about? Please note we do our best to accommodate accessibility requests but if they come in last moment we may not be able to, so write to us as early as you can.
