Read the article attached about LVAD's. This article is from MyLVAD. There are multiple types of LVAD's manufactured. Remember when on scene dealing with a patient with a LVAD, follow protocols and contact Medical Control for further guidance. There is a quiz attached, you must score an 80% or better to receive credit. You will receive an email once this is completed. Present this email to the EMS office for CE credit. This is worth 0.5 hours of CE.
