The main aim of the overall project is to enrich youth work activities with mindfulness approach, methods and techniques in order to support youth and youth workers wellbeing and mental health, efficiency and active participation. To reach the aim we are creating Mindfulness curriculum and e-courses for youth workers and youth. We want to have a qualitative product which we will be proud to apply, use and share. And we believe that our outputs will address actual needs of youth workers and youth. Firstly, we develop a programme for youth workers to train them to be able to facilitate mindfulness for youth. All products are closely linked to each other and the first developed curriculum is base for e-course and next curriculum as well. That's why it is important to have a testing period and to try it by ourselves.
For that we want to implement short-term joint staff event in order to:
- share good practices and mindfulness methods from each partner organisation;
- increase capacity of participated youth workers towards designing programmes, using mindfulness for personal practice and increasing ability to facilitate mindfulness with young people;
- test and apply developed curriculum on the organisational staff;
- to apply curriculum as a contact training and find the way how it can be adjusted for e-course;
- improve the quality of the developed curriculum through feedback.
