Call for Registration for Ikirenga Artistic Freedom Initiative Training and Mentorship Program

Ikirenga Artistic Freedom Initiative is a project being implemented by Ikirenga Art and Culture Promotion in partnership with and on the fund of UNESCO, through its UNESCO-Aschberg Programme. The project aims to support and enhance initiatives that protect and promote artistic freedom across Rwanda. Done with the initial phase of the project that focused on the nationwide comprehensive assessment, Ikirenga Art and Culture Promotion is excited to announce the launch of the project’s second phase—Capacity Building. Through an eight-month-long training and mentorship program, his phase aims to empower and equip individuals in the creative industry with essential skills and knowledge vital for professional growth, and success and overcome challenges identified during the first phase.

Training+Mentorahip Details:

➡️ Location: Kigali and Musanze

➡️ Duration: 8 months

➡️ Schedule: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

➡️ Registration Deadline: January 14th, 2024

➡️ Cost: Free of charge

➡️ Eligible Participants: Individuals in the creative industry (no age limit).

Participants will engage in six essential courses to ensure a comprehensive learning experience. The courses are:

1. Digital Security

2. Legal Frameworks

3. Self-care

4. Marketing

5. Financial Management

6. Project Management

Upon completing the program, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their dedication and proficiency in the core areas of study. If you wish to participate in the program, indicate so by filling out this form.
