At Austur we offer two types of group classes on a daily basis, scheduled in the morning, lunch and afternoon. The two types are cardio and WOD classes, the cardio class consists of simple movements, cardio machines, bodyweight exercises and dumbbells/kettlebells. While the WODs on the other hand are a bit more "CrossFitty", including more advanced movements, like Olympic weightlifting exercises. It is always possible to do WOD classes and substitute some movements if needed, the coaches are always ready to help out and suggest substitutes. First and foremost we make sure our classes are fun :)
As well as offering group-classes our gym is open 24/7 which can be really convenient for people who work shifts or long days. Austur consists of an open-floor room with plenty of space, pullup bars, barbells, kettlebells, cardio machines etc., as well as a room with commercial gym equipment, treadmills, cable machines, dumbbell area, squat racks and so forth. Outside of scheduled classes the open-floor room is open to gym goers.
