The More Than Words Program was designed specifically for parents of children on the autism spectrum and with other social communication difficulties. Addressing the unique needs of these children, the program provides parents with the tools, strategies and support they need to help their children reach their full communication potential. In a small, personalized group setting, parents learn practical strategies to help their children learn language naturally throughout their day together.

More Than Words does this by empowering you to help your child reach the following three goals:
Improved social communication and back-and-forth interactions
Improved play skills
Improved imitation skills
Here are some of the valuable things you’ll learn when you attend the More Than Words Program:

Program Details:
-Program is tentatively scheduled to run for 1x per week for 12 weeks beginning in January 2023 from 4:00-6:00 pm
-Program includes 6-8 training sessions for parents only in small, personalized groups (sessions run approximately 2 hours and occur 1x per week)
-One pre-program consultation for you and your child with a Hanen certified speech-language pathologist
-Three individual visits for you and your child with the speech-language pathologist scheduled throughout the 12 week process.
