Guidelines for ALL PROJECT LEADERS during COVID-19
Please read and agree to the following prior to returning to outdoor volunteer project sites

I understand I must complete the state’s VOSHA training and the UNH outdoor volunteer training.

I will inform volunteers of guidelines for the resumption of activities by email, phone calls, and posted notices at sites of Regeneration Corps volunteer activities. These communications must also include the maximum number of people allowed to participate in activities.

I will create a sign-up process (to limit the number of people in the work space at one time) and as a Health Check (to enable contact tracing, if necessary) in place.
Sign up/in sheet (see below) should be used to collect phone numbers, and email addresses for all participants.
Project leaders should set the upper limit for the number of people allowed in the work space, at one time, based upon their knowledge of those spaces and the ability to maintain social distancing.
If participants feel any of the symptoms of COVID-19 not attributable to pre-existing conditions, Volunteer Leaders should not allow them to participate, requesting that return home or seek medical care.

I will post clear signs (see below) listing measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (see below).

I will encourage frequent handwashing: Ensure that there is a hand-washing station is in place at the activity site, with soap, water, and paper towels. If hand-washing stations are not available, adequate hand-sanitizer must available.

I will clean and disinfect shared surfaces or objects. I will have on-site an adequate supply of environmental cleaners that can be used to clean high touch items and instructions on safe and effective use must be made available.

I will help to maintain a 6-foot distance between volunteers when working in the work space at the same time.

I will encourage the use of face-coverings, as recommended by the CDC, when working in the work space.

I will encourage volunteers to bring their own tools, and limit tool-sharing. A process should be in place to disinfect shared tools with approved environmental cleaners between use.

If restroom facilities are available on-site, but they cannot be cleaned twice daily, they should be kept closed, I will post a sign stating that the restroom is unable to be cleaned daily.

If my work spaces are managed or co-managed by another organization, I will work with that organization to get agreement guidelines for work at that site. I will make sure that you are offering a unified and common message that applies not only to Regeneration Corps volunteers working at a site but also to community members or staff who may be working there.
