Welcome to the NFI Film Club registration page for JOE BUFFALO, a film following the Indigenous 
skateboard legend Joe Buffalo. Buffalo is also a survivor of the notorious Indian Residential School system, and through this powerful portrait, explores the demons of his past, realizing his dreams of becoming a pro skateboarder and giving back to his community. 

By registering you are signing up for BSFI's LIVE virtual discussion on OCTOBER 12th at 1:00pm MST with Big Sky Film Institute's Director of Education, Subject Joe Buffalo, Producer Haley Morin, Director Amar Chebib and Montana Office of Public Instruction Indian Ed Specialist Mike Jetty. In addition to your free screening link, you will be provided curriculum materials to help provide proper context and integrate this powerful film into your classroom teachings.
