2022 Buchanan Area Summer Boys Water Polo - Jr High (7th/8th)

What is water polo?
Water polo is a team sport, like soccer and basketball, where each player has to play both offense and defense, and are constantly in motion.  There are six field players and a goalie playing at one time.  

Skills that make Buchanan Area Water Polo players successful:
1. Good throwing and catching skills - Softball and Baseball players do well in water polo!
2. Enjoy movement based team sports - Basketball and Soccer players enjoy playing water polo!
3. Strong swimming ability - If you like surfing or swimming you will like water polo!

Monday-Thursday 10:30am-12:30pm @ Buchanan HS Pool
Wednesday League: Game Start Time at either 4/5/6/7 @ Clovis HS Pool
It is a requirement to be able to swim 2 consecutive laps unassisted and tread in deep water for 1 minute

Cost: $150, Wednesday League included, checks made out to Clovis Unified
Please bring check by the end of the first week
Weekend Tournaments will be additional fee

In accordance with CIF bylaw 207, any athlete who transfers from School “A” to School “B” after having prior contact, during the previous 24 months, either directly or indirectly with School “B” prior to enrollment shall not be eligible at School “B” for 365 days from initial date of enrollment.  This includes this camp, clinic, AAU, club team, and/or workouts.
