"Safeguarding University Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property" Workshop Series in Romania, Serbia, and Croatia--Hosted by Health Security Partners and the U.S. Department of State

Background:
Greetings from Health Security Partners (HSP), a non-profit organization based in Washington DC, USA, which provides educational programs to strengthen institutional research capacities to prevent, detect, and respond to global health security threats.
HSP, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, will host a virtual "Safeguarding University Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Training" workshop series in May - June 2024. This comprehensive workshop series will be structured over three half-day sessions throughout late May and early June. This workshop series seeks to raise awareness and share international best practices for safeguarding intellectual property from theft and exploitation while encouraging responsible scientific collaboration. HSP will bring together university stakeholders from Romania, Serbia, and Croatia, including executive leadership, laboratory directors, and technology transfer professionals, for this three-part virtual training and experience-sharing workshop series.
There are no costs associated with participation in this virtual workshop; it is fully sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.
