Question: What is the correlation between the diagnosis of either skin cancer or pre skin cancer and sunscreen use? Does it increase?

I define "pre skin cancer" (I am unsure if there is a better way to word this, this is just how I've always referred it) as abnormalities that were identified as some kind of skin cancer but removed before spreading, AKA what I personally went through.
