Chúc mừng năm mới! Các bạn ơi, Phim Ngắn Mở khởi động hành trình 2022 rồi đây!
Trước tiên xin cảm ơn sự đồng hành và ủng hộ nhiệt tình của các khán giả cũng như các nhà làm phim trong năm 2021 đầy thử thách đã qua. Dù ít dù nhiều, những buổi chiếu phim và giao lưu ấm cúng kết nối những con người từ nhiều nơi tại Việt Nam và trên thế giới đã thực sự cổ vũ và nuôi dưỡng tinh thần làm phim, xem phim ngắn trong một giai đoạn thật sự khó khăn của điện ảnh nói chung.
2022 đã bắt đầu, Phim Ngắn Mở mong sẽ có thêm nhiều sự phát hiện, nhiều tiếng nói mới và nhiều bộ phim xuất sắc được giới thiệu và chia sẻ.
Và chiều chủ nhật tuần này, chúng tôi xin mang tới số đầu tiên của 2022 với ba phim ngắn từ Việt Nam:
1/ Một cõi đi về (Phim truyện) của đạo diễn Trần Thị Hà Trang
Tranh giải chính thức tại LHP Quốc tế Singapore 2021;
Giải Cánh diều vàng 2020 (Hội Điện Ảnh VN) cho Phim ngắn

2/ Côi (Phim truyện) của đạo diễn Anh La
Tham dự LHP Quốc tế Rotterdam 2020

3/ Eroica 2020 (Tài liệu thể nghiệm) của đạo diễn Nguyễn Lê Hoàng Việt
Tham gia triển lãm Hotel Beethoven (2020-2021) của bảo tàng Bozar (Brussel, Bỉ)

Thời gian: 15h00 - 16h30 ngày Chủ nhật 23/01/2022
Chiếu phim và giao lưu với các đạo diễn thực hiện trực tuyến qua nền tảng Youtube Stream và Meet. Chương trình thực hiện bằng ngôn ngữ tiếng Việt.
Sự kiện miễn phí, phù hợp với khán giả trên 13 tuổi.

Happy New Year! Dear friends, Open Shorts project is about to start the journey of 2022!

First of all, we would like to say thank you for the companionship and enthusiastic support of the audience as well as the filmmakers in the challenging year of 2021. More or less, the hybrid screenings and cozy exchanges that connected people from many places in Vietnam and around the world have really encouraged and nurtured the spirit of filmmaking, watching short films in a really tough time for cinema in general.
2022 has begun, Open Shorts looks forward to more discoveries, new voices and great films being introduced and shared.
And this Sunday afternoon, we are honored bring to you the first issue of 2022 with three short films from Vietnam:
1/ Retrace (Fiction) - Directed by Tran Thi Ha Trang
Synopsis: During the flood season, a boy and his father travel to a rural mountainous village to attend his grandfather’s funeral, each dealing with grief in his own way.
Official Selection in Singapore IFF 2021
Golden Kite Award for Short Film 2020 (Vietnam Cinema Association)

2/ Côi (Fiction) - Directed by Anh La
Synopsis: Côi is a lonely boy with no family or friends. An old man who sees him thinks he has found the perfect groom for his deceased daughter. Whether this will make Côi less lonely is doubtful.

3/ Eroica 2020 (Hybrid Documentary) - by Nguyen Le Hoang Viet
Part of Hotel Beethoven: A World Theatre exhibition (2020 - 2021) in Bozar - The Center for Arts (Brussels, Belgium)

Time: 15h00 - 16h30 on Sunday, January 23rd 2022
Screening and discussion with directors via Youtube Stream and Meet platform. Event will be conducted in Vietnamese only.

The event is free, suitable for audiences over 13 years old.
