COMMUNITY PARTNERS INTRO
FME Community Partners are skilled group leaders or one to one practitioners who want to ripple hope, wellbeing and positive change  for the benefit of local people.  FME community partners do this by facilitating workshops, programmes, groups, coaching, counselling and more.

FME are on a mission to build a well community in the greater Antrim area.  As a small local charity we can't do this alone and we work with community partners to achieve this vision.  FME bring the space to this partnership, with community partners we bring the Heart - together WE ARE HEARTSPACE.

All ideas and all groups are welcomed but FME may need to give preference to any idea that helps support those experiencing emotional distress, loneliness and bereavement.

Community partners will be supporting the FME Path to Hope Initiative by;
  • Providing a community service in the FME HeartSpace
  • Recruiting group participants to help build an active HeartSpace community
  • Including the Path to Hope logos in marketing, and tagging FME in events

FME will support community partners by;

Required
Time In: (allow 30 mins in advance of your participants arriving depending on your set up)

We operate a shared space and we expect every user to leave the space clean and ready for the next group.
We also recommend that community partners arrive 30 mins before their start time to set up, ensure that the heat and lights are on and that the HeartSpace is ready to offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for your group.
*
Time Out: (allow 30 mins)
We operate a shared space, so each community partner is expected to leave the HeartSpace ready for the next session. Some simple caretaking duties must be carried out to include putting away any furniture you've used and as relevant, hoovering, wiping down the kitchen, washing and putting away dishing, emptying bins, replacing toilet rolls. Whilst doing this if your session included cooking, use of aromatherapy or an activity that generated body heat you may also need to open the doors for ventilation purposes.
*
Is there anything you need FME to supply or help you with in the set up of your Community Partner Path to Hope event? Consider the main space, car parking, kitchen areas, etc.

We have a shared space and therefore everything you see in the kitchen is there to be shared by all groups. We encourage HeartSpace users from time to time to leave an item to help keep stocks up. We welcome tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, bleach, bin liners or anything else you notice that we might need - or perhaps even a small donation!
*
Please give us an understanding of the costs you expect participants will be required to pay to come to your event/activity/service?

You should also use this space to tell us if you are in a position to offer free spaces to people in need, how many places you can provide and how you feel that will work.
*
Anticipated number of attendees (approx):

Thank you again for your interest in the FME Community Partner Programme. We really appreciate your time and effort in putting together your proposal. If your proposal is a good fit for our work and we have availability to meet your requirements, a member of the FME team will be in touch.
