The BBC Antique’s Roadshow is coming to Derry and they are looking for experienced volunteers to assist during filming on 31st July 2023.

 * Volunteers must be over 18.

All volunteer stewards will need to:

Ø  attend stewards briefing from 3pm - 4.30pm on the day prior to the event.

Ø  be available on the event day ( 31st July) from 8.30am - 5.30pm / 6.00pm ( some roles may require an 8am start). 

Ø  complete a Fitness to Particiapte  form & be over 18 years of age. 

Ø  be  willing to work outside - come rain or shine. 

* * Agreeing to work as a volunteer steward may result in you appearing in the background of the filming.  By attending the recording, you are giving your consent to being filmed. 

 Roles:

Ø  Welcome Volunteers –  8am start, greet visitors on arrival, hold early arrivals at an agreed point & manage the queue to AR Reception. Volunteers will work alongside BBC Security and Ticket management team.

 Ø  Waiting Room /Green Room Volunteers –  looking after guests who have been selected for filming, offering refreshments.  Volunteers may also look after the AR Experts offering them refreshments at their tables in the event area.

Ø  General Volunteers -  direct visitors to the Welcome /Reception area and the Experts’ tables or assist with managing visitors near the filming units.
