To participate in this program we ask both the neighbor and students to agree to certain responsibilities. The student and parent agree:
- I will keep any text/phone call conversation friendly and neighborly
- I will agree upon payment with my neighbor before work begins. Suggested payment is $5/unit ($5/driveway, $5/sidewalk, $5/walkway, etc.)
- I will not go into anyone's house or indoor property.
- I will recognize the dignity of my neighbor and interact with them in a friendly and neighborly manner.
- I understand that once the referral to a neighbor is made, Our West Bayfront and neighborhood schools are not responsible. Any issues with the neighbor must be addressed between shoveler, parent, and neighbor.
