To claim a site, reference the individual site maps by region on our Screech Owl survey sites webpage, and type in your preferred sites below in the format they are shown on the map. For example, if your first choice of site is 03C, then please type "03C" into the answer box.
Taken sites are listed on the survey sites page with three asterisks (***) next to them. Please do not list any sites that you see are already claimed.
Since sites are on a first come first serve basis, your site may already be taken, so make sure to include a second and third choice. Please note that some sites may have been removed because of private lands, and some sites indicated on the lists may need routes approved by Montana Audubon before conducting the survey.
