“I don't think that science is complete at all. We don't understand everything, and one can see, within science itself, there are many inconsistencies. We just have to accept that we don't understand.”-- Charles H. Townes, Nobel Physics Prize winner and co-inventor of the laser.
Many people, often non-scientists, say that science can and will answer everything. Yet, science itself sets explicit parameters on what it can and cannot study, and famous scientists from Albert Einstein to Isaac Newton have stated that there are things that science cannot answer. Many major and important areas are beyond the scientific method, including morality, ethics, spirituality, metaphysical and objective truth, art, and even scientific areas within science itself.
