Request Form: Tornado Recovery Mini Grants

Nonprofits completing long-term housing recovery work related to the December 2021 tornadoes are invited to apply to the Coalition for Home Repair for funds via the form below. Approximately $6,500 is available.

Resources are available for building materials and tools to assist with repairing and rebuilding homes occupied by low-income households whose needs exceed resources provided by FEMA and insurance.

While other nonprofits provide funds for the initial disaster relief and clean-up, the Coalition is focused on long-term disaster recovery home repair and rebuilding projects. Learn more.

The Coaliton for Home Repair is committed to ensuring all pass-through funding assists organizations representing diverse geographic service areas and program types. All nonprofits assisting with disaster recovery related to the 2021 tornadoes are encouraged to apply.

Membership in the Coalition isn't required. However, Coalition members who apply must have submitted timely reports (impact report and Lowe's e-gift card report) in 2022 in order to be eligible to receive funds.

Funds will be awarded on a rolling basis to nonprofits that meet the criteria above. Apply now for the greatest chance of receiving funds.
