If you'd like to be a contact person for your school / kinder / childcare community, it would be great if you could pass this info on within your networks - eg by posting info on the parent & carer FB pages for the school, putting items in the 'Community events' section of the school newsletter, and / or putting up posters. There's no obligation to do any of those things.

As parents ourselves we know that it can be a full-time job just getting kids to sleep, dressed, breakfasted and to school, to the doctor or to their sport / activities / playdates while we try to get our own stuff done at home / work / in the community.  But even just keeping yourself informed and having the occasional conversation contributes to better understanding of how the climate emergency affects our kids and what we can do about it.
