Virtual House Churches in this Unusual Lenten Season
The earliest Christian communities met in each other’s homes to extend hospitality to one another, to pray, to tell stories and to break bread. We are exploring this ancient way of gathering together VIRTUALLY as a community during this unusual season of Lent. While you will sign up to meet and check-in as a group VIRTUALLY, what you do once you're connected is up to you.

Suggestions include:
1. Eat together while video chatting and tell stories
2. Support one another in a spiritual practice
3. Have tea and coffee and talk about your spiritual journeys
4. Decide to read a book together and discuss it
5. Play a game, sit in silence, or reflect on the themes of Lent or this season of life
6. Sing your favorite hymns or songs
7. Whatever gives your group a sense that you are making a way through the messiness of the world together

If you would like some inspiration for reflections during your meetings we will have a resource sent when your group is matched together via email.

Groups will be encouraged to meet regularly and will be matched based on neighborhood and/or availability. (If enough families with children are interested in a "families with young children house church" this is an option)
