NCDD Summer Learning Springboard Session Application

The Summer Learning Springboard is a virtual convening from the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD). This convening will consist of a variety of skill building sessions and learning exchanges over the course of one week (July 25-29, 2022). Participants will register to attend specific sessions, with a variety of free and fee-based events.

The following application is for proposals to host a session. Presenters should complete the form fully. NCDD staff and board members will review the proposals and make a selection based on the criteria we have set forth for this event:

The goals of the session align with NCDD’s goals for the exchange of skill building and learning exchanges:
The session is interactive and provides clear takeaways/outcomes for participants.
This session addresses a timely issue, topic, skill, or best practice.
The session has a clear target audience and has ties to the NCDD community (dialogue, deliberation, and public engagement).

This learning exchange is aiming to provide a variety of sessions at various prices, including free sessions. What price would you be looking to charge (per person) for this session? *

If chosen to present at the Summer Learning Springboard, presenters agree to the following: (please check all to acknowledge these agreements) *

If fees are charged, NCDD will receive 25% of each registration fee for administration of registration and marketing of the event.

For sessions not charging a fee, NCDD will make the option available to make a donation to NCDD.

Presenters will inform NCDD of the minimum participation they require to move forward with the session. Final decisions on whether to hold the session or not will be determined 10 days prior to the session.

Presenters will share information about the Summer Learning Springboard among their own contacts/networks.
