Better Futures Program - Enquiry & Eligibility Form
Thank you for your interest in The Better Futures program – Certificate II in Tourism & Hotel Operations.

This form is to confirm your eligibility for enrolment and participate in the program, commencing study in January 2024.

As we are taking applications from multiple prospective participants, we kindly ask you only complete this enrolment process/form if you are serious about participating in the program.

This form is not recognised by Workforce Australia (and their relevant Job Providers) to meet your Mutual Activity Requirement.

Eligibility

To be eligible participants must be:

• Australian or New Zealand residents (or hold relevant visa with work permits and pathways to residency)
• Living on the Northside of Brisbane
• Aged 15 years or older and not enrolled in school
• Not currently enrolled in any tertiary study (University, TAFE or college)

You must also:
• Requiring personalised assistance to overcome barriers to learning & employment OR
• Have been unemployed for 6 months or longer OR
• Working less than 25 hours per week

Please note our program is unavailable for international students.

Eligibility criteria is determined by the Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business & Training.

Location: Maine Road, Clontarf
Duration: 4 days a week, 12 weeks – Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 2:30pm
