April 9th: First Annual Seed (also plant and tree cutting exchange) Swapping Event 10:00-2:00
Raptor Creek Farm is the Josephine County Food Bank's 5-acre vegetable farm. All produce is given to food pantries to feed over 13,000 people a month. Join us in fighting hunger in Josephine County, because no one should be hungry!

What is a seed swap*?
A gathering of people, gardeners and farmers to share seeds. The type of seed includes locally grown, bought in excess, seeds from a specific region or seeds to donate.  Seed can be placed on the community table or seed savers can sit next to their supply to share information and monitor what is taken. Mainly, people get together to share seed, knowledge and discover a community of growers. Seed swaps offer the opportunity to cultivate a network of people interested in ongoing seed projects and to collectively develop and share seed that supports a more diverse and resilient local food supply.

*Pease note this is a plant and scion exchange
Scion is a young twig or cutting of a fruit tree for grafting or rooting
