Serving Our Community
Joining with the Student Council again this month, our club has an opportunity that supports their efforts and allows all of our Polar Bears to help support our community.

On Tuesday, February 7th from 3:30 to 5:00 a Community of Kindness will be the theme for our event.  At this event our K-5 students will be painting rocks with messages of kindness to distribute in our community to remind everyone about the importance of being kind to others.  We will also be doing a project that will share that message with our school community in a special way.

While we will have a number of rocks for students to paint, students are encouraged to bring a rock of their own that they have simply found out in nature and think it would be good to paint.  Rocks that are about the size of their fist or smaller with a flatter surface on one side are usually the easiest to paint but since they are the artists, any rock of their choosing is great.
