The Illinois Physical Activity and Life Skills (iPALS) Wellness Program is seeking qualified undergraduate and graduate students for hourly-paid positions this summer.
iPALS is a summer learning and enrichment program for children attending elementary and middle schools in Champaign Unit 4 Schools, specifically targeting youth who experience poverty and are enrolled in the free and reduced school lunch program. The Program will focus on (a) social and emotional learning, (b) physical activity, (c) academic enrichment, and (d) nutrition education.
Employment with the program will require a four-week, Monday through Friday daily time commitment of 8:00AM to 1:00PM (i.e. 25 hours/week), beginning June 3rd and ending June 28th, 2024, with training on Wednesday May 29th - Friday May 31st. The Program will take place at Garden Hills Academy.
The Program is seeking qualified applicants to fill a number of employment positions including: (a) group leaders and (b) station activity leaders.
