Hi, I’m Shervon, a final year student at Nottingham Trent University studying Product Design. For my commercial project I have chosen to design a smart home device under the theme of ‘work efficiency’. I am exploring how remote working spaces can be deemed ‘inadequate’ in their facilities and how studying for long periods of time in these spaces can affect our posture and productivity.

The following survey has been curated to question the 18-24 university student demographic. The purpose of this survey is to gather primary insights, quantitative data, to support the direction of my project and get an accurate observation of the current university student demographic, regarding remote studying, remote studying environment and workflow.

Towards the end there are questions about Sky, to better understand this age groups knowledge and where they stand with the brand on the statements provided.

This survey is completely anonymised.

You have the right to withdraw all of your data and for it to be destroyed before Tuesday 31st October.
After this date, all data gathered will be compiled to form the qualitative primary research which I will use to support my commercial project. The overall premise of this survey will be to effectively iterate the requisite for the product I am designing in response to inadequate remote studying facilities, bad posture, bad habits impacting overall productivity and ‘work efficiency’.
