Application for Foundations Course of Spiral Journey: a Work That Reconnects Facilitator Development Program - Sept 10, 2022 through March 11, 2023
Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis until August 15, 2022. The application process includes an online or phone interview to mutually assess whether the course is a good "fit."  Once accepted, a deposit of $600 USD is required to hold your place in the program.

The program is a 6 month online course and learning community with 7 regularly scheduled webinars, online learning platform, study circles, homework, and optional "cafes."  Webinars will be held on the second Saturday of the month at two different times to accommodate multiple time zones.

The course curriculum addresses four "threads":
I.   The Work That Reconnects concepts and practices
II.  Facilitation skills
III. Decolonizing Our Minds and Building Inclusion
IV. Living the Great Turning.

The Foundations course is open to beginning and advanced facilitators in the Work That Reconnects.

Prerequisites include:
1) participation in at least 3 days (or 12 hours) of experiential practice in the full Spiral of the Work That Reconnects (retreats, workshops, ongoing study groups, online workshops). See workthatreconnects.org/events or spiraljourneyworkthatreconnects.org/programs for upcoming events that you could attend.  Talks and webinars do not fulfill this prerequisite.
2) read books: Coming Back to Life and Active Hope;
3) diversity/anti-oppression study or training.

Please make plans to fulfill these prerequisites before September 1, so you are fully prepared to begin the program.

All webinars, forums and study circles are online. Participants need to be relatively comfortable learning and interacting online.

How did you find out about the program?
Social Identities:
As part of our work in this course, we will be exploring different facets of our biological and socialized identities, including areas of privilege and oppression.  Because it will help the facilitators to better plan for our work together--and because we hope it will be a meaningful reflection for you on some of the circumstances of your life--we ask you to share some information about how you identify. Please respond in whatever way feels accurate and comfortable for you at this time in your life.
