Registration for GM/WGM and Foreign IM/WIM
Please use this form to contact us to register if you are a GM/WGM or Foreign affiliated IM/WIM.

All GMs, WGMs, Foreign IMs/WIMs: Free Entry with no deduction if registered by October 15.  $200 deducted from prize if registering after October 15.

Conditions:
  • GMs, Foreign IMs, and Foreign WGMs are eligible for shared hotel or equivalent conditions.
  • By registering, conditioned players agree to play all 9 rounds, Tuesday to Sunday. Byes and withdrawals may not be taken without the expressed permission of the organizers. 
  • Registration and conditions are arranged in advance by completing this form and by email to play@americanopen.org. Registration is complete only when responded and confirmed by the organizers.
  • Conditions are subject to limited availability and other factors, which is the reason we recommend registering as early as possible.
  • The organizers reserve the right to apportion conditions or refuse conditions to players for any reason.
  • Conditioned players who withdraw after November 15 may not be eligible for conditions in future American Open events.
