How The DATW Solo Competition Works:
  • Ensure that you have purchased a Weekend Pass
  • Ensure that you have paid for the DATW Solo Registration Fee ($25) which will go towards the cost of your bib
  • Attend The Workshops on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • At the end of MOST workshops, the instructor will ask all DATW soloists AND Full-time dance school auditionees  to step forward and show what they have learned.  (Note some workshops will not be choosing DATW Soloists and this is indicated on the workshop timetable).
  • The instructor will announce the Finalist’s number (the number on your bib)

DATW FINALISTS
  • If you have been chosen as a finalist, please go and see the Workshop Attendant and provide them with your name and a mobile phone number
  • Upload your music to the ADF using the MyCompHQ App. Click here for instructions
  • NB: Your music can not be longer than 60 seconds.
  • If you cannot provide us your music by 6pm on Saturday or 5pm on Sunday, you will NOT BE ABLE PERFORM.  We need to be strict on this as getting the music late interferes with our show schedule.
  • Please be ready backstage by 7pm on Saturday, and by 5pm on Sunday
  • Your performance order will be available on the Live Timetable

Infinite Edge Movement Elite Program Audition
  • On Saturday 16th Sept, Infinite Edge Movement will be auditioning for its Elite Program in the Main Arena (Under 14s workshop at 2pm).

FULL TIME DANCE SCHOOL AUDITIONS:
If a school is interested in you, they will either
a) Announce your number at the end of the workshop
b) Contact you via telephone during or after the Australian Dance Festival
