Unlocking Museum Collections

In 2022 the Association of Nova Scotia Museum embarked on an initiative with 60 of its member museums to 'Unlock Museum Collections'. The goal was to develop digitization strategies with cultural communities and return information and stories to communities. The first step of this process was hosting community sessions throughout the province. These sessions were open and honest discussions between community members and museums, and resulted in many calls to action for museums and the Association. As a follow-up to the community sessions, we are reaching out for more input. Please share your thoughts by answering any or all of the following questions. Completed surveys can be returned to the ANSM office in the self-addressed return envelope provided. Your feedback is important to us and will help museums better meet the needs of all Nova Scotians. Thank you for your time!
