Each week, the Slate Trivia Quiz offers a brain-tingling selection of 12 timeless trivia questions related to a common theme. Topics run the gamut from history to literature, sports, food, culture, science, religion, and beyond... and all in the same Slate Quiz format you know and love.

Upon completion of the quiz, competitors can compare their scores to that of the average contestant as well as a special guest each week.

We would like to invite Slate Plus members to serve as our special guests! Special guests will get to take the quiz a day early and have their score featured at the end of the quiz. To participate, you will need to be available on the corresponding Friday between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Eastern time to take the quiz, and will need to provide your name and a photograph to be featured on the website.
