Iowa Energy Summit 2023 Summit Abstract Submissions
The IAEE Conference Committee seeks abstract submissions to be considered for the 2023 Iowa Energy Summit.

What are we looking for?

1. Interactive, creative and innovative oral presentations and/or interactive, solutions-driven workshops to support our mission: to champion the efficient use of energy, for the benefit of all Iowans, by serving our members through education and collaboration.

2. Higher consideration will be given to topics in the areas of providing sustainable solutions to cutting edge problems, maximizing support of the deployment of federal funding (IRA/IJA) to Iowans and our communities, ideas/examples of training for trades and examples/case studies of successful projects.

3. Proposals are welcome from all organizations. Multiple proposals from the same organization are acceptable. We support a balanced array of presenters, including end users, utilities, nonprofits, research organizations, regulatory officials, program implementation service professionals, and energy efficiency contractors.

What to expect as a Presenter at the 2023 Iowa Energy Summit?  
  • Presenters will gain exposure to a diverse audience of over 200 professionals at the conference as well as in pre-conference promotion where the presenter's bio and presentation topic will be listed.  
  • For verbal presentations, prepare a 60-minute session including presentation and questions.
  • We require that each abstract submitted include a lead Presenter as the primary contact. The Presenter and 1 Co-presenter will receive complimentary registration.
  • All Presenters will present on either Tuesday, November 7 or Wednesday, November 8th, between 10:00am and 5:00pm.
The deadline for submitting an abstract is April 17, 2023 at noon.
