Linear Equalities & Inequalities: For Life! <3
A linear equation is any equation involving one or two variables whose exponents are one. In the case of one variable, one solution exists for the equation. (Ellen, 2008)

An inequality is written exactly as you'd write an equation, except that instead of using an equals sign, you use one of the inequality signs. They are ">" a.k.a. "greater than," "<" a.k.a. "less than," "≥" a.k.a. "greater than or equal to" and "≤" a.k.a. "less than or equal to." Technically the first two symbols, > and <, are known as strict inequalities because they don't include any option for the two sides of the inequality to be equal. The signs ≥ and ≤ denote the possibility that the two sides are equal and unequal. (Ellen, 2008)

All of which can be used in Life as we will present in this facilitation! <3

Learning Objectives

-Participants of age 25-30 years old, should be able to determine if a given equation is a linear equation or a linear inequality,100% of the time without the aid of references.

-Participants of age 25-30 years old, should be able to identify the different types of inequality (>, <, ≥, ≤, ≠), 100% of the time, without the aid of references.

-Participants of age 25-30 years old, should be able to transform a linear equation from general form, Ax+By=C, to linear function, y=f(x), and vice versa, 8 times out of 10 given equations, without the aid of references.

-Participants of age 25-30 years old, should be able to transform a linear inequality from general form, Ax+By≠C, to linear function, y≠f(x), and vice versa, 8 times out of 10 given equations, without the aid of references.

-Participants of age 25-30 years old, should be able to evaluate and graph linear equations and linear inequality, 8 times out of 10 given equations, without the aid of references.
