Marni Wingku ('Good Breath' in Kaurna) is an immersive on-campus program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in Years 7 to 12, run by Wirltu Yarlu Aboriginal Education at The University of Adelaide. The program will run from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Registrations starting at 8:30 AM. Lunch will be provided.
Students and teachers will participate in innovative, inquiry-based workshops from a range of disciplines. The workshops will build participant confidence and creativity, inspire and enrich their attitudes towards learning; empowering their passion to achieve their career aspirations.
Please select 8 to 10 students in Years 7 to 12 whom you believe would benefit from this experience.
Participants from regional areas will travel on Tuesday 24th of September and return on Thursday 26th of September. Wirltu Yarlu will cover the costs of travel, accommodation and diets for participants and companions during their stay in Adelaide.
