Rotary District 5280 Foundation funds matching awards for graduating high school seniors who show leadership potential.  Eligible students are those graduating from high school this year with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA; who have been awarded a scholarship by a local Rotary Club and, and have been recommended by that club for a Future Leaders Scholarship; and are planning to attend an accredited college, university, vocational school, or community college in a full-time program with a completion or certificate.   The District will match club awards, up to $1,000, to be used by students for education-related expenses.  To be considered, clubs must complete their own award procedure first, then submit a club application* nominating a student for the District award.  Each student must also submit a student application application including a letter of recommendation*.
