This form is meant to be completed by high school choir directors who are nominating one or more of their students for the Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival.

Complete this form to nominate singers for the 2020 Meistersinger Honor Mixed Choir and/or Treble Choir.

You may nominate up to:
-3 sopranos
-3 altos
-2 tenors
-2 basses

Be sure to collect address, phone, and email for each student you nominate, as well as a list of awards and accolades, as you will be asked to provide all this information as a part of their nomination.

Acceptance into the festival and ensemble placement will be based on the ratings, list of honors and awards, and director comments provided for each student. If you have recommendations for ensemble placement, please include that in the directors comment section for consideration by the selection committee.

Submissions must be received by midnight on Sunday, December 8th.  Results will be sent the week of December 16th, along with instructions on how to register selected student for the festival.

If you are a high school student (or parent/guardian of a high school student) who would like to attend the Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival, please share this form with your choir director and ask them to submit a nomination on your behalf.

If your music teacher is nominating you for the Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival, no further action is required on your part. We will contact your teacher in mid-December with the results of the selection process.

If your school is not nominating any students for this festival, you may qualify to submit the Individual Student Application. Please contact stephanie.klemetson@wartburg.edu for more information.
