Health Story is a Fort Worth Report podcast by health reporter Alexis Allison that explores differing views on health decisions like vaccines and abortion. Each episode is a conversation between two people who disagree but are willing to look for common ground.

Here’s how it works: The conversation should last about one hour and take place via Zoom or in person. Alexis will join, but only as a timekeeper; the conversation will be self-directed but informed by a set of guidelines. Before the conversation, she’ll share with you these guidelines and a “solutions” story related to your conversation topic to read. The latter part of the conversation will focus on whether you think the approach highlighted in the story would work in Tarrant County.

The conversation will be recorded and the full audio published, along with an edited transcript, on the Fort Worth Report’s website. Your full names will be included. Alexis plans to launch the first episode in January 2023, with recurring episodes monthly. 

Eligibility: People who live in Tarrant County, have personal experience with the subject matter and are open to constructive dialogue are eligible to participate. You can be an expert, but you don’t have to be. Finally, there's no deadline to sign up!
