Please use this form to submit blog content to the NCBA PD for posting on the Paralegal Division Blog.

NCBA PD LEADERSHIP/COUNCIL MEMBERS: NCBA PD leadership/council members are not required to follow the posting guidelines below when submitting blog content on behalf of the council.

REGULAR NCBA PD MEMBERS and NON-MEMBER AUTHORS: our NCBA Paralegal Division blog posts unique content related to the legal profession. It is published to members of the NCBA Paralegal Division at least two times per month. Topics of interest to a wide variety of divisions/sections may be posted on the NCBA’s main blog.

BLOG SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
 
1. Blog Posting Details:
a. Educational, personal stories (work-related), ethics, mentorship, and the like.
b. Format - Please type your article up in any word processing software of your choice and then copy/paste it into the form below.
c.   Length -
                                         i. Title-7 words or less
                                        ii. Article length - max of 1500 words
d. Information needed from the author
                                         i. Name as preferred for byline including credential
                                        ii. Email address
                                       iii. Brief biography – maximum of 150 words
                                       iv. Relaxed photo at least 300 dpi in jpg format. The photo need not be a professional headshot as long as you are the only one in the photograph.

2. Editing: The  NCBA reserves the right to edit - heavily - if necessary. Such editing is not undertaken lightly. Considerable effort goes into preserving the author’s creative voice during the editing process. Edited blog posts are returned to authors for review prior to publication to ensure that nothing has been misconstrued.

3. Topics may include soft skills, words of wisdom, practice management, technology, or specific areas of law such as:

Education, Family, and Children’s Rights
Elections and Campaign Finance

4. Please email your relaxed photo for the blog post to the Publications Committee at ncbaparalegals@gmail.com. You may also use that same email for any questions or concerns.
