Join our student trainers (members of PRSM) in a workshop that explores the meaning of consent and develops skills to incorporate consent into a wide range of everyday situations, not just sex. This workshop is a modified version of one all Oberlin students attend during their first year on campus. First, we’ll explore the central components of consent, how to communicate about it, and what barriers you might encounter. We’ll then move on to support skills and address best practices for supporting someone who has experienced sexual harm. We’ll wrap up the workshop by giving a brief overview of the resources available at Oberlin. Pre-registration is required by 3:55pm Eastern on April 17.
