If you're interested in involvement, leadership and community, then ASWSU is for you.

ASWSU is the student government on campus. We encourage all students to join. The only qualification we look for is wanting to help Washington State University. Getting involved right when you arrive on campus is a great way to meet friends in a close knit community, positively impact Washington State University, and make tangible long-lasting change. Find what you're passionate about and don't hesitate to reach out. We look forward to collaborating with you, and seeing the great change that you will help initiate through ASWSU!

Health Committee - student mental health, nutrition and exercise, vaccination, etc.

Safety Committee - sexual assault prevention and awareness, supporting victims and survivors, connect students with resources

University Affairs Committee - student, academic, and university affairs. Give student perspective to WSU leadership

Communications Committee - photos and creating videos for social media, creating graphics, promoting and advertising ASWSU to student body

Diversity, Inclusion, and Veteran Affairs Committee - promote inclusive environment for under-represented students, celebrate and showcase diversity of our university

Community Affairs Committee - connect with the Pullman community, partner with local businesses, community organizations, and local government to improve lives of students and community members

Cougar Lobby Team - this group of student lobbies the local, state, and federal government on issues of higher education that directly impact WSU students

ASWSU Senate - consists of 21 Senators representing each academic college, the Honors College, uncertified students, and students at-large including two Freshman Delegates and an Administrative Assistant. Our purpose is to frequently discuss issues and concerns with our constituents as well as university administrators and gain consensus for all matters on behalf of the ASWSU.
