As the world's largest professional society for chemical engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) counts over 60,000 members from over 110 countries in its professional network since its establishment in 1908.

The mission of AIChE at UCLA is to promote excellence in the School of Engineering and Applied Science's Chemical Engineering department by providing support to the students to succeed academically and professionally.

Our approach is fourfold:
- External affairs through our Annual Career Fair, Professional Development Workshops, and Company Infosessions/Plant tours
- Internal affairs through our Engineering Open House/Engineering Week, Research Lab Tours, and our events highlighting -faculty to student connection
- Technical projects with Chem-E-Car, LEAP, and ChIP
- Social events focused on mentorship and community building

Membership is $20, even if you are a returning member. We accept Venmo (@aicheucla) or cash (only accepted at general meetings).
