The NSW Department of Education in partnership with KARI is conducting a Vocal Identification Program (VIP) to enhance and develop the vocal talents of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. VIP will assist Aboriginal students in Year 7 to Year 12 to develop their skills in the performance arena.
Complete and submit this application form by Friday 23 April 2021.
Audition will be held at Glenfield Education office Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th of May 2021. Audition times will be allocated upon acceptance of all application forms. You will be notified via email to the email address provided in this application form.
Students are encouraged to bring a backing track on their phone/USB or CD where possible.
If students are successful they are required to attend 8 workshops at Casula Powerhouse from 9am - 3pm:
Thursday 17 and Friday 18 June 2021
Wednesday 28 Thursday 29 and Friday 30 July 2021
Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 September 2021
Friday 3 September 2021 (9am -10pm) - Showcase concert in the evening.
An additional recording date for the Blake Ralph Recording Studio will be required and advised following acceptance into the program.
