CEC is soliciting applicants for Faculty Fellows to enhance community partner work in conjunction with your classes in order to deepen engagement with partners over the course of the 2021-2022 academic year.  This can support work for either fall/ spring semester or an entire academic year. Faculty may partner to work collaboratively and share awards.
 
We strongly encourage you to reach out to our current CEC Steering Committee Faculty or a member of the CEC staff to discuss developing your application and determining which award will best meet your needs.


Award Details:
$2500 One Year Community-Based Project (should incorporate SRX course(s) -includes:
--$1500 Faculty Stipend ($750 per semester)
--$1000 for a community project budget and/or community stipend(s)

 
Faculty Fellow Expectations:
The project should be discussed and agreed upon with the partner (including project development, management, and outcomes) and should align praxis student learning outcomes and partners’ needs
The Faculty fellow is expected to maintain the relationship with their partner and meet/ communicate as needed
Enrolled students should attend the CEC ethics orientation once per year (attending additional trainings/ workshops are encouraged but not required)
All participants (faculty, students, partners) should also complete the CEC outtake/event evaluation forms each semester
Provide a status report at the end of each semester in which an award is received (template will be provided) and final deliverables upon the project’s completion within one month of the semester's end.
