With the scheduled re-opening of school on August 10th, we understand families have many questions. Konocti Unified School District is committed to prioritizing student and staff safety.  
Based on the most current information from public health we have identified two survey options for students:
• Option 1 – Traditional – in person (face to face)
*Individual School Site Plans and Protocols to be developed and include:
o 5 days a week
o Following Lake County Public Health Safety Guidelines including:
 Social distancing in place
 Intensified cleaning and disinfecting
 Required face covering (TK-12)
 Modified cohort classes
 Modified busing, lunch & recess schedules
 No large gatherings (ie. – assemblies)
• Options 2 – Teacher-led distance learning
* District-wide Plan and Protocols to be developed and include:
o Students taught by teacher while remaining at home
o Daily attendance/student contact
o Teachers responsible for student learning, will instruct, assign, provide feedback and assess student learning
o Teachers and students will use Google Classroom and Google Apps
o Students will be provided a chromebook to access their teacher directed virtual learning while at home
