Organic and Biodynamic Farmers who need a hand beyond the bushfire emergency across Australia
The Organic and Regenerative Investment Co-operative (ORICoop) is calling out to volunteers interested to lend a hand in the long road to recovery for these bushfire affected farmers.   Are you interested to get your hands dirty, to work hard, and to have a direct effect on farmers affected by this natural disaster earlier this year.

Our desire is to enable organic producers to have a community of passionate supporters around them - that will stand with them beyond this tragedy and the months ahead.  And support them back on their feet to producing healthy food.   We are critically aware of the difficulty for existing certified organic producers affected by bushfires and their long road to recovery, both physically and emotionally.  We are keen to bring those that have been directly impacted, together with a team of keen helpers, that can lend a hand when it's needed.

ORICoop is founded on the principles of Co-operative values, members helping others, preserving and enhancing certified organic farmland and localised community based food production systems.  True Cooperative principles are around caring about our communities in times of need, and looking beyond our own needs in difficult times.

Note from Christina (Prana Produce):- - http://pranaproduce.com.au/

'We need help to clean up of lots of wood after the fires and would love a clean up day where people could assist with the collating of wood and bush debri, help us with weeding and clearing of areas of the farm.

Ideally people that have experience working with tools, able to bring gloves and boots, and happy to offer some time to assist us.  A Saturday or Sunday in February or March would be fantastic for a bunch of people.  Happy with a few keen people or even a group of 20 could be helpful (please include dates that you are available)

Any specific enquiries can be sent to volunteeroricoop@gmail.com
