"As a previous AP English Language and Composition student, I found 134 to be the perfect fit. [The class workload] starts off a little easy in order to comfortably bring you to the pace of the course. Each writing assignment is not incredibly long, but expect to have frequent group discussion, revision, and collaboration. The readings are of multiple genres and eras, so expect to practice analyzing texts from unfamiliar points of view. As long as you make a genuine effort to create quality work that follows the standards being set, you will never feel "slammed" or overwhelmed by 134.

Before taking B Writ 134, I wish I had known that the stakes were not high. I found that there were many opportunities to ask questions and receive constructive feedback. The focus is on the quality of understanding, not on the nitpicking of minute details.

"Essays go at a much faster pace than high school and the need for outlines and rough drafts is great. In terms of actual assignments, expect reading for every class, writing, group work and other assignment to test your comprehension. As long as you do the work and put in the time, passing will be incredibly easy. It should also be noted that you should work towards being able to read texts and notice the main ideas.
