Lost & Found OPEN CALL
Exhibit Dates: April 6 - 27, 2024
Location: Drezner Visitors' Gallery
Opening reception: April 6th (2-4 pm)
Artists are invited to submit work that tells a story about something lost, found, forgotten or remembered; items, ideas, memories, opportunities ... Interpretations of the theme may be created in any medium, and found object assemblage/collage is encouraged.
ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS:
1. Artists may submit 2D or 3D artwork not to exceed 40” in any direction (including
frame).
2. Accepted media: drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, mixed media, sculpture, clay, wood, metal and fiber art.
3. All 2D artwork must be framed and ready to hang with appropriate hardware and wiring (no sawtooth hangers please), and pedestals will be provided for 3D work.
4. All artwork must be for sale. FVAC receives a 40% commission on sales.
5. All artwork must have information (Artist's Name,Title, Medium, Size, Price) attached to pieces upon delivery.
6. FVAC retains the right to refuse any submissions for inappropriate content.
7. FVAC is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to artwork for any reason.
SUBMISSION FEE:
$10 per piece (limit 2) - cash or check
FVAC is a not-for-profit 501c3 arts organization. Entry fees are used to underwrite exhibition costs.
Submission fees are non-refundable.
Artwork Delivery: Pieces must be delivered to Fisher Gallery from March 30 - April 3 (closed Sunday) during regular business hours. M-F (10-4), Saturday (12-4).
Artwork Pickup: Pieces may be picked up in Fisher Gallery after exhibit closes from April 29 - May 4 in Fisher Gallery.
