2024-2025 Nashville Children's Choir Audition Signup

Auditions will be held in the lower level of the Massey Performing Arts Building (1922 Belmont Blvd, Nashville, TN 37212) May 6th beginning at 4:30 on the campus of Belmont University. You will audition in the order your arrive. There is visitor parking adjacent to the building. There will be a check-in table in the hallway outside of Harton Recital Hall.

There are four choirs in which your chorister can potentially be placed:

Preparatory Choir (3rd-4th grade)

Concert Choir (4th-6th grade)

Touring Choir (6th-8th grade)

Youth Choir (9th-12th grade)

*Grade levels are approximate and 2nd graders are occasionally accepted.

Choristers will be assessed not just on their vocal quality but their ability to receive instruction and adapt. There is no material that the chorister needs to prepare prior to the audition. For Preparatory, Concert and Touring Choir auditions, a short round will be taught by the directors during the audition.

Parents of choristers auditioning for Preparatory, Concert and Touring choir are welcome to attend the audition which will more than likely be in a group setting. Choristers auditioning for Nashville Youth Choir will audition individually and without a parent in the room.
