Despite being more than half of Ghana's population, 51.2 percent to be exact, women's voices and issues are not prioritized.  While journalists, producers, and program hosts argue that this exclusion is not deliberate, women's low participation in media has implications for the framing, design, and implementation of laws, policies, and government programs.
